  1. NOTE: THE VERSION ON THIS DISK CALLED A-MAX_STARTUP_ECSPAL IS ONLY FOR PAL
  2. AMIGA'S THAT HAVE THE ECS. WITH THE NORMAL AMAX ON THESE MACHINES YOU WILL
  3. NOT BE ABLE TO SEE OR REACH THE BOTTOM QUARTER OF THE SCREEN & YOU WONT' BE
  4. ABLE TO REACH THE TRASHCAN. THE SPECIAL MODIFIED VERSION FIXES THE PROBLEM
  5. (AT LEAST UNTIL 1.4 & SUPER DENISE ARE RELEASED.)      ZIGGY

  7.     This is the Latest Release of the Amax Macintosh Emulator.
  8. Tt includes bug fixes for correct MultiFinder operation among other
  9. things. The Only file you need to actually run is the file
  10. "A-Max Startup" (181k).  This contains the cracked A-Max Startup
  11. program and the 128k Mac Roms patched in. It can be crunched
  12. if you so desire, or easily installed on hard-drives (No external
  13. ROM files to worry about)

  15. - If you have Just an Amiga and NO A-Max Hardware then just run
  16.   "A-Max Startup" or click on the icon and away you go. Any external
  17.   drives will be assumed to be Amiga drives in A-Max format.

  20.   USING MACINTOSH OR COMPATIBLE DRIVES

  23. - If you have the A-Max Hardware (Or compatible) and have the 128K ROMS
  24.   installed and you wish to use this cracked version for speed (It's much
  25.   faster than loading the ROMS off the port) then the program will
  26.   automatically detect where you have the A-Max hardware connected
  27.   and if a Macintosh Drive is connected and you have nothing to worry
  28.   about.

  32. - If you have the A-Max Hardware (Or compatible) and NO ROMS installed on
  33.   it and wish to use a Macintosh Drive with it you must first run the
  34.   supplied program "MacDrive" to tell the system where the drive is
  35.   connected (DF1:, DF2:, etc...)

  37.   Usage: MacDrive  [ DF1: | DF2: | DF3: ]

  39.   Typing MacDrive with no parameters will disable/reset the Macintosh Drive.
